There’s a place in the woods called Aspen Ridge—because of all the Populus (genus) trees which grow there. This is where we call Home. WE are the Popple People. 
We are proud to produce video content for you & showcase our authentic country lifestyle! Our YouTube channel features rustic country living, appreciating the little things, & the freedom you get from keeping life simple! Here, you’ll be able to follow our creative process. We started vlogging what we do on our homestead so we can circle back in the future and see how far we’ve come on this journey. 
Shortly after we got our sawmill, we acquired a 1959 John Deere 440 Crawler. This has also become part of our adventure, since we needed that to complete excavating at the site where we constructed a saw shack to house the sawmill. 

Our next big adventure will entail building a tiny house log cabin in the forest. We’ve never done anything like this before, so this project will be an experiment for us. Tune in to see if it’s actually possible to build a log cabin by self-teaching & watching YouTube videos to figure it all out!
